STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Your house should feel like home. I strongly feel this is true and that’s why I started my company. I love helping people make a space comfortable and one in which they are proud to entertain friends and family. I have been helping my own friends and family do this for years. Decorating is my passion; it is what I love to do. Every room I go in I see potential. It is so exciting to see how much a room can be transformed by color, a few changes, or a floral arrangement. A home should reflect you and feel comfortable, and it shouldn’t cost a fortune to make this happen.

A FEW FACTS ABOUT ME

My name is Suzy Davidson. I grew up in the far west Chicago suburbs and attended the University of Iowa. After college, I spent some time working in the corporate world. Although I learned a lot and met my husband through work, I realized it was not the right setting for me. So, when kids came along, I became a stay-at-home mom with the enviable job of raising two wonderful girls. Once both girls were in school, I began doing more consulting and decorating for friends and family. More recently, Davidson Designs was born, and I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to turn my passion for decorating into an exciting career.
